Brian Butch, Marqus Blakely Named Performers of the Week Brian Butch, who averaged 19.0 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in two Bakersfield Jam wins this past week, and Marqus Blakely, who averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds in three Sioux Falls Skyforce victories, were named NBA D-League Co-Performers of the Week for games played March 12-18.
Ubiles Signs Contract with Wizards The Washington Wizards have signed Dakota Wizards forward Edwin Ubiles for the 37th GATORADE Call-up of the 2011-12 NBA D-League season. Ubiles, a 2011-12 NBA D-League All-Star, becomes the record-setting 28th individual player called up this year, and the sixth Call-Up of the week.
Spurs Re-Assign Cory Joseph The San Antonio Spurs assigned Cory Joseph to the Austin Toros on Tuesday. This is Joseph's third assignment of the year. During his first two stints with the team, he averaged 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists.
Power Rankings: Pole-Sitters The L.A. D-Fenders -- who became the first team to clinch a spot in this year's NBA D-League Playoffs -- take the pole position once again, but a number of teams are in hot pursuit.
