MLB rosters are taking shape, Rotoworld has you covered...

Fantasy Baseball Draft Guide
The MLB regular season gets underway next Wednesday, with the A's and Mariners traveling to Tokyo, Japan for a two-game showcase. Accordingly, major league teams are beginning to form their 25-man rosters, trimming players who didn't make the cut and assigning roles to those who did. Which is where Rotoworld comes in.

In our Online Fantasy Baseball Draft Guide, we track and analyze any changes that are being made across the baseball landscape -- whether due to injury or circumstance.

Take, for instance, the ninth-inning gig in Kansas City.

With longtime closer Joakim Soria dealing with elbow problems and potentially facing Tommy John surgery, save opportunities in the BBQ capital of the world are up for grabs. Royals manager Ned Yost is refusing to anoint a successor to Soria, but our hunch is that 26-year-old right-hander Greg Holland will be the guy. He posted a superb 1.80 ERA and 74/19 K/BB ratio across 60 innings last season in a setup role and has held batters to a .160 average this spring in the Cactus League. His primary competition, former Dodgers closer Jonathan Broxton, is sporting a .250 opponents' BA in Cactus League play.

If Soria goes under the knife Holland could dominate save opportunities all year. And with the Royals finally looking like an 80-plus win team, that should translate to big-time fantasy value.
