Sparks rookie Candace Parker won two prestigious awards at the annual ESPY Awards. Beating out golfer Lorena Ochoa, driver Danica Patrick and skier Lindsey Vonn, Parker received the Best Female Athlete Award. She also won the Best Female College Athlete Award over Virginia Tech pitcher Angela Tincher and North Carolina field hockey standout Rachel Dawson.
